Why should you become a member of CACE?

CACE is comprised of Regional Liaisons who work in collaboration with the CACE Executive to offer provincial professional development opportunities to its members as well as periodic regional meetings. This enables our members to get a regional perspective on topics of interest to them.

The CACE national annual conference offers practical resources and top-quality speakers. The conference is a valuable professional development opportunity which also provides a unique networking occasion for communicators in education. Members of CACE can attend the conference at a discounted rate.

3. Professional recognition

The BRAVO! Awards are a source of individual and group prestige. These awards recognize Canada�s exemplary work in educational marketing and communications. The BRAVO! Awards recognize projects that demonstrate excellence in research, planning, execution and evaluation. Only CACE members can submit and receive such recognition.

4. Best Practices

CACE provides its members a secure section on its website which offers templates and models shared by its members to facilitate daily functions as well as material from past conferences. CACE is proud to make available to its members a Directory of members that includes an exclusive skills bank which can be consulted at all times. All CACE Members are bound by a Code of Ethics developed to provide guidelines for professional behavior and standards of ethical practice in educational communications.

5. Online Resources

CACE offers different forums for the members to share and communicate. The online forum/blog, accessible exclusively to the members is the easiest solution to contact your CACE colleagues rapidly and efficiently to get help on specific matters. A Facebook page is also available for quick and practical information and sharing.
